Poem Strategy Idea - PS

My unit will be on the topics of "nationalism, imperialism and WWI." I wanted to incorporate a poem into my unit for WWI.
I found a great poem that talks about fighting on the battlefield. Some ideas I have for this are:

• Have students compare and contrast the poem to a picture from war.
• Have students read the poem and descripe what it is saying.
• Compare the poem to song about WWI.
